Took a drive out to the lake to check out the condition of a friend's cottage, they were in danger of flooding most of last spring and summer and while they were lucky enough to to be affected by the widespread flooding, they weren't able to use the cottage all last year. There's still rows of sandbags around various cottages and a lot of people have started building their own barriers to block any further potential flooding. There's also a bunch of cottages marked for demolition.But it was a beautifully sunny, warm day so there was time to wander around and take some photographs. The lake is still mostly covered in ice, will be a few more weeks until its clear.
