Spent some time hanging out in Denny and Darrell's back yard this afternoon. Its hot and sunny and really felt like summer today. Mac didn't seem as thrilled to stay outside, she kept wandering around looking at door as if to say, "Hey let me in where its air conditioned and I can sleep in comfort!' but she finally found a place to settle down LOL.
Progress is slow on the Lizzie Kate Green Flip-Its. I can't figure out if the design just isn't speaking to me right now, or if its because I put my 8" and 11" Q Snaps together to make a different size frame for it. I'm trying to keep plugging away but I'm definitely not getting far very fast.

Vroom Vroom
A photo for Project Life, some antique cars that were on display during the cycle-athon down at the hospitals this afternoon. I missed most of them, in fact as I got down there, several were on their way off the lot. Rats! But these two were parked together and I think they turned out to be quite a nice shot.

Ta Da!
It only took a week to finish the February Word Play design. At first I was worried the colors were too dull but the minute I looked at the finish product I fell in love with the design all over again. Definitely stoked to do the other months now!
And considering its my favorite racing day of the year I think I'll have the time to do it - Monaco Grand Prix, Indy 500 and Coca Cola 600. Boogity, boogity, boogity!

Catch Up Time.....again
It seems I've discovered a new way to blog. Completely ignore your blog for weeks at a time, then go to it and feel guilty because you haven't been blogging. Then attempt to blog about those past few weeks. Repeat.
And of course don't really have a good excuse as to why you're not been blogging regularly. That's the most important part of all. *sigh*
Not too much finishing cross stitch projects going on around here either. I finally did manage to finish Spring ABC's. Yay! And hey I've started a few other projects...set them aside.....and started a few more! Double Yay!

All Finished
Lizzie Kate's Spring ABC's is finally finished, yay! Its larger than I expected so I'm really glad I chose 32 ct fabric to stitch it on, but I love how it turned out. Now I definitely want to get the Autumn design.
I already have winter, its actually partially done, I started it at Thanksgiving but then set it aside for Christmas designs. I have Summer as well and that's moved up to the top of the To Do list for sure.

Spring Clean Up
You know its officially spring when the city comes down the street sweeping up all the sand and gravel spread down on the icy roads all winter long. Now I just have to get busy and rake the leaves off the grass and everything will be good. There's a lot more leaves appearing on the trees and bushes now, yay, finally we'll have a little greenery around here.
Made quite a bit of progress on Spring Alphabet this weekend. I'm still battling the sinus infection so I spent a lot of time just stitching and watching TV on Sunday.
But I made up for it Saturday - went for a long walk with Denny and Mac, then went to the Childrens Hospital Book Fair and didn't buy a thing although there were a few books I checked out. I was hoping for a couple cookbooks but there really wasn't that great of a selection. They had a ton of Jean Pare cookbooks but neither the Square and Slice one or the Slow Cooker recipes. Rats, was hoping to snag the two of them at the sale.
But I have added a few more titles to my kobo wish list :)

Title-less
Got a little more done again yesterday, but thanks to a revived sinus infection, I spent a lot more time mindlessly staring at the computer screen than I did stitching.
